Sydney Expansion on RE/MAX agenda

RE/MAX Australia, a rapidly-growing region in the global RE/MAX franchise, has attracted senior business director and Sydneysider, Josh Davoren, to the corporate team in a strategic move to grow the brand’s presence.

Mr Davoren will facilitate new business development in both Sydney and regional New South Wales.

His appointment comes on the back of Tim McDonnell and Stephen Lea’s appointments as Business Development Consultants and Jeff Williams’ appointment as Franchise Development Manager as the network steers its course of strategic growth, unlimited opportunities and profitability for its business owners.

While Josh Davoren’s scope of expertise has included senior marketing roles and high-end clients, he had been surrounded by real estate all his life. He joins brother Joel Davoren, RE/MAX Australia Franchise Director, as a third generation real estate professional following grandfather James (Jim), a Gold Coast real estate identity from the mid 1960’s to early 80’s, and father Michael Davoren, who is RE/MAX Australia’s managing director.

“The RE/MAX brand is in the throes of a really exciting period right now, where it is growing, changing, has ambition and the ability to shake up the industry, and this excites me greatly,” Josh Davoren said.

The marketing communications expert, whose experience spans Australia, Europe and North America across blue chip companies, and business management professional, whose specialization is marketing creative and strategy, is familiar with innovation and change, along with ambition and drive.

“Throughout my professional career, I have had to immerse myself in different industries. I love business strategy, and meeting and working with talented, ambitious professionals.

“As Business Development Consultant, I will measure my success through bringing business owners into RE/MAX and watching them thrive,” he said.
