PropertyIQ To Boost Property Industry Productivity

CoreLogic, the world’s largest property data and analytics provider, and Macquarie Business Banking, a leading business banker to the property services segment in Australia, have today announced the launch of new software joint venture, PropertyIQ – www.propertyiq.com.au.

PropertyIQ will initially deliver three software solutions that will enable the real estate and strata industries to improve business efficiency by providing a single operational view of their businesses, integrating workflow with leading data, analytics and banking solutions.

PropertyIQ Connect, powered by a Salesforce Customer Relationship Management system, draws on CoreLogic’s national database of properties, enabling agents to appraise properties, connect buyers to properties and view real time market information so they can list and sell on the spot, anywhere, anytime.

PropertyIQ Portfolio, the property management and trust accounting system, allows agents to keep track of activities in their rental portfolio and automate routine activities so they can be more responsive to landlord and tenants’ needs.

PropertyIQ Strata, the strata management system, reduces administration for strata managers through automated bank file transfers so expenditures can be approved and paid on the spot, streamlined invoice workflow and seamless document management capability.

PropertyIQ Chief Executive Officer, Dawie Verryne, said CoreLogic and Macquarie Business Banking both bring decades of strong experience working within property industries and the launch of this joint venture shows their continued commitment to the sector.

“Members of the property industry are often challenged by dealing with a number of systems to manage their businesses and the needs of customers. PropertyIQ brings together all of the systems they require into one package, integrating banking and data, and filling the gap between the industry’s software, banking and data needs,” Mr Verryne said.

“This is the first time in Australia that two leading corporate organisations with such deep knowledge and expertise in real estate and strata services have come together to provide technology specifically designed to respond to market needs.

“CoreLogic and Macquarie Business Banking have created PropertyIQ in direct response to demand from real estate agents and strata managers who have expressed a need for a technology solution that brings together all aspects of their business with integrated software, data and banking.”

Graham Mirabito, CoreLogic Chief Executive Officer, said we see significant benefit in launching this business with Macquarie Business Banking due to their experience, and specialisation in the property services segment.

“We are excited about powering the PropertyIQ software suite with our data and analytics. This will allow professionals to make better real-time decisions to grow their businesses.

“In Australia we have over 60,000 real estate industry end users logging into our system 30,000 times each day. By deeply integrating our services with PropertyIQ we are able to deliver an end-to-end view of real estate sales and rental portfolios with actionable insights for growth opportunities. Additionally strata managers will be enabled with new business insights and efficiencies from our data and analytics,” Mr Mirabito said.

Dean Firth, Macquarie’s Head of Business Banking, said Macquarie is pleased to be working with CoreLogic to offer software solutions that will provide such significant benefits to real estate and strata professionals and allow them to do business in a different way.

“The features and tools provided by PropertyIQ will allow the property services industry to serve their customers more effectively and run their businesses more efficiently, enabling them to realise profit growth and cost savings.

“Our relationship managers know strata managers and real estate agents because they spend time in their businesses learning about how they work and what support they need to grow their operations. We have used this deep industry knowledge to work with CoreLogic in developing PropertyIQ, so we know these technology solutions will provide real benefits to business owners,” Mr Firth concluded.
