Domain is on the search for the best young real estate agent in Victoria and New South Wales, announcing its new award program today, the Rising Star Awards 2016.
The Domain Rising Star Awards aim to celebrate leadership, innovation and outstanding achievements of young real estate agents aged up to 30.
“In our business we see many bright and entrepreneurial young agents establishing themselves through hard work and skill” says Antony Catalano, Domain’s Chief Executive Officer. “The inaugural Domain Rising Star Award will recognise the best young agents in both Victoria and New South Wales – Australia’s biggest property markets. We are looking for the breakout talents who are bright, ambitious and can demonstrate they have made a real difference”.
Entries are now open. Eligible real estate agents that fit the criteria can self nominate at domain.com.au/risingstar.
A panel of industry judges including Melinda Petrunoff, Industry Head for Media, eComm and Education at Facebook, Jessica Watson OAM, Young Australian of the Year 2011, and Domain Group’s own Chief Marketing and Editorial Officer, Melina Cruickshank, will review nominations.
Twelve finalists per state will then be invited to attend a prestigious awards event held in June, where the State winners and two highly commended finalists will be announced.
The winners will feature on the cover of Domain in The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald respectively, and be included in a double page editorial spread outlining their achievements and contributions to the real estate industry.
Submissions close on Friday, 6 May 2016. For more information, please visit domain.com.au/risingstar.
