Ray White welcomes high-profile agents in NSW and Vic

Ray White has welcomed two established agents to their growing team, with Trevor Byrne rebranding his business Ray White Carnes Hill in south-west Sydney, and Helen Jens recently opening the doors to the newest Ray White business in Kyneton in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges.

Both agents come with a wealth of experience and renown within their respective communities.

Mr Byrne has worked in the Carnes Hill area of south-west Sydney since the beginning of his real estate career while Ms Jens previously owned a real estate business with a different brand, and both believe the move to Ray White is the natural step in reaching their next level of growth.

“Having previously operated within a smaller brand, I’m looking forward to having the support of a corporate team plus access to leading technology and systems,” Mr Byrne said.

“I really believe Ray White is the vehicle I need to push my business further and continue its growth.”

With 11 years of living and working in the area, Mr Byrne says his knowledge of the people in his community and the property market go hand in hand.

As a local homeowner and someone who has a young family, Mr Byrne understands the big decisions and expectations families have when it comes to selling, buying or renting a home.

“Being a local and having local knowledge is so crucial because I can actually relate to my customers. I’m a working parent, my wife and I are raising two daughters who go to the local school and we’re home owners in the local community.”

“I think that emotional connection helps build trust with my clients so they can be sure I will achieve the best possible outcome for them,” Mr Byrne said.

Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch congratulated Mr Byrne on opening Ray White Carnes Hill.

“Growth is in the DNA of Ray White and we are incredibly proud that Trevor has chosen to open Ray White Carnes Hill. We welcome Trevor and his team to the family and look forward to working with them in the near future,” Mr McCulloch said.

Despite the new brand, Mr Byrne will continue to offer the same outstanding service he has become renowned for.

“Just five years ago I was working out of my garage, I’ve built a rent roll from the ground up and I’ve survived working independently in a market that’s predominantly franchises,” Mr Byrne said.

“My business is built on honesty and trust. I’ve worked hard to build a great reputation and I think it has definitely paid off.”

Meanwhile, Ms Jens noted her new association with a family-owned brand would further service the needs of her community.

“I was thrilled with the level of support and training offered by the group. And the element of family really resonates throughout the whole company which is really inspiring,” Ms Jens said.

“I didn’t want to join a brand that was localised to the Melbourne market. We wanted a brand that is recognised nationally and can help us improve our offering to our clients across all residential, rural and commercial property.”

Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens said he was delighted to welcome Ms Jens and her team to the Ray White family.

“There is no greater compliment that can be paid to us than when a business owner comes to us from another agency.

“Our people are the key to the success of Ray White and we are looking forward to supporting Helen and her team to provide a fantastic experience for their customers,” Mr Dullens said.

Having spent most of her adult life in and around Kyneton, Ms Jens brings with her a broad and deep skill set that is rare in the real estate industry.

“Before becoming an agent, I worked in management and consultancy in the legal, medical, advertising and public relations industries. I think that experience and expertise has strengthened my communication skills and enhanced my ability to negotiate, to get the best possible outcome for my client,” Ms Jens said.

For the Ray White Kyneton team, their ambition is simple: to establish their business and deliver even more value to their clients.

“The main priority for us is our customers. Making sure our customers have the very best experience as they go on their property journey is the most important thing,” Ms Jens said.

“That smile and warm handshake at the end of the deal, when everyone is happy, makes it all worthwhile. There is nothing more rewarding than clients returning or referring their family and friends to me.”
