As Philip Webb approaches 46 years as the face of his real estate agency in Melbourne’s East, he is making moves to ensure the continued success of the business.
Having spent decades cultivating one of the most recognisable industry brands, he has created the position of CEO to redefine the company and drive the business forward. Mr Webb has appointed General Manager (and his eldest son) Anthony Webb to the role after a five-year planning process.
Whilst taking a step back from leadership duties, Mr Webb senior will still play a hands-on role with business strategy and development.
“This is an opportunity for reinvention. As we gear up for 2019 we can position ourselves to make aggressive moves towards real and positive growth,” he said.
“Anthony is exactly what we need to forge ahead, leading the company into new markets, ensuring our continued success and creating opportunities for staff.”
It’s a time of celebration for Anthony Webb, with 2018 also marking his 20th year in the business.
Anthony got his start in property management, before heading overseas working in sales and investment with several prominent companies in the UK and Ireland. This was a defining period for him, a journey that put him on track to a successful career in sales and eventually management.
His impressive work ethic has made him a popular figure with both colleagues and clients alike, while his commitment to his profession has been highlighted by such achievements as winning the REIV’s Novice Auctioneer’s Competition in 2004 and joining the Advisory Board for the Real Estate Results Network in 2017.
