Ryan Tedder, the songwriter behind some of the world’s biggest pop hits, is selling his Beverly Hills home for US$16 million.
Known for his work with artists such as Adele, Leona Lewis and OneRepublic, Tedder and his wife Genevieve are looking to make a tidy profit on the property the couple bought for roughly US$11.5 million seven years ago.
According to Dirt, the Grammy-winning songwriter had purchased the classic 1960s midcentury modern home after it had been freshly overhauled by noted interior designers Trip Haenisch and Hadi Halawani.
Situated behind big gates on a half-acre cul-de-sac lot, the property includes a flat motor court with space for six cars, plus a three-car garage.
The single-storey home boasts a living room and combo dining/family area that surround a huge, double-sided fireplace built with exotically grained stone.
There’s also a Euro-chic minimalist kitchen with white cabinets and premium stainless appliances, including a glass-fronted refrigerator.
The home features six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, and the primary suite has foldaway glass doors that open directly to the backyard.Â
The bathroom includes a glassy shower with dual rainfall showerheads, plus a soaking tub and large closet.
A skylit gym, sauna and office round out the amenities within more than 465sq m of interior space.
Outside, the property includes a large swimming pool and multiple outdoor fireplaces as well as an outdoor kitchen servicing a built-in bar.
Meanwhile grassy lawns are ideal for playtime, and the entire property is surrounded by big trees for privacy and serenity.
