Having owned their Miami mansion for less than a year, celebrity couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are looking to sell the waterfront estate for US$17 million.
According to The Dirt, the famous duo paid just US$11 million for the swank 1980’s waterfront mansion after hiring an interior designer to refresh the entire home.
Situated on 0.37 acres of prime waterfront land, the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home includes 975sq m living space that the listing calls “reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright’s legendary creations”.
The mansion features a huge coral-walled atrium entry, surrounded by vertical gardens, and completed with a gold coffee table with low-slung furniture.
There’s also a large stone fireplace at the centre of the living room with incredibly high ceilings.
The chef’s kitchen includes a double-width island and a formal dining area with unique wallpaper, a chandelier, and bamboo chairs.
In the bedrooms, the walls feature pale colours while the family room boasts a brightly-covered Hans Hopfer-designed Mah Jong sofa.
Outside, grassy lawn surrounds the estate, as well as an outdoor kitchen and two swimming pools.
While the 28-metre dock provides easy access to the waterway that connects to the bay and the Atlantic.
Despite their decision to sell the property so quickly, the pair still own a three-bedroom unit in Nolita that they bought in 2018 for US$5.6 million and unsuccessfully tried to sell in 2020.
