Bret Michaels, the iconic frontman of Poison, is ready to rock and roll in his newly acquired residence, proving that he’s still got a taste for the finer things in life.

With a nod to Poison’s lyrics, I gotta have you, oh yes I do, Michaels has made a cash purchase of a stunning contemporary home, setting him back a cool US$5.5 million, according to Dirt.com.

Located in a gated Westlake Village community on the outskirts of Los Angeles, this ranch-style residence is sure to make Michaels feel like he’s having Nothin’ But A Good Time.

This single-storey architectural masterpiece was built in 2019 and boasts a sprawling one acre lot, nestled behind a gated driveway.

As you approach, the driveway gracefully winds around a motorcourt and under a portico before leading to two attached garages, providing ample space for four cars.

Step inside, and you’ll find yourself immersed in over 501sq m of luxurious living space adorned with dark hardwood floors, high ceilings, and designer light fixtures.

The grand entrance welcomes you into a marble-clad foyer, featuring an impressive glassy wine display.

The open floor plan seamlessly flows into a formal living and dining area, exuding warmth from a cozy fireplace.

Beyond that lies a spacious family room, complete with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, wet bar, and walls of glass that open up to a covered terrace, perfect for hosting al fresco gatherings.

Adjacent to the family room is a casual dining area that leads to a sleek and stylish kitchen, boasting all-white cabinetry, an eat-in island, and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances.

Retreating to the private quarters, you’ll discover a generous master suite, featuring a sitting area, decorative fireplace, and a walk-in closet.

The master bath is a sanctuary in itself, offering dual vanities, a dressing area, a soaking tub, and a glass-encased shower.

And let’s not forget about the backyard oasis, designed for ultimate entertainment.

With a secluded sitting area, adorned with a fountain and trellis, an expansive covered patio housing a fire-pit lounge, and a built-in barbecue station, Michaels and his guests will be spoiled for choice.

The large pool and spa, complete with a Baja shelf and fire feature, are perfect for taking a dip or lounging poolside. And for the sports enthusiasts, there’s even a full-sized basketball court.

Although this is his latest purchase, Michaels still maintains his primary residence in Calabasas, which he acquired for US$4.8 million in 2020.

In the same year, he also sold another property in Westlake Village, located just across the street from his new abode, for about US$4.3 million.
