Ten Sixty launches in Los Angeles with star-studded event in Hollywood

Australian startup Ten Sixty, the new global short-form video app for real estate, has officially launched in Southern California alongside Jason and Brett Oppenheim and the cast of the hit Netflix series Selling Sunset.

The launch, at Jason Oppenheimโ€™s luxury Hollywood penthouse, saw 200 leading, high-end agents from across the US attend to celebrate the short-form video app.

Attendees included LA luxury agent Joyce Rey, top TikTok agent Glennda Baker and other agents from Coldwell Banker Luxury, Compass, Rodeo Realty, Sothebyโ€™s, Douglas Elliman and The Oppenheim Group along with Brett Oppenheim and Amanza Smith.

Australian 1060 founder Matthew Snowden said Ten Sixty was helping change the real estate industry.

โ€œTen Sixty is helping redefine real estate into a new era, where real estate becomes more real time, authentic, social and fun for agents, home buyers and home lovers,โ€ he said.

โ€œThe new medium is short-form video and itโ€™s quickly changing real estate on a global scale, as agents become influencers and storytellers through short videos.โ€

Selling Sunset star, and Founder of The Oppenheim Group, Jason Oppenheim said he had become a global ambassador for Ten Sixty because he believed in the app and Mr Snowdenโ€™s vision.

โ€œWhen youโ€™re putting your reputation behind anything, I think that itโ€™s most important especially in tech,โ€ he said.

โ€œItโ€™s a great idea and an intelligent person that knows what theyโ€™re doing behind it. 

โ€œThereโ€™s been a lot of ideas that have failed because they havenโ€™t had the right person behind it. 

โ€œThis is something I believe in โ€“ Iโ€™ve put all my reputation and business reputation behind it. In fact, most of my listings now are on the app.โ€

Joyce Rey heads the global luxury division at Coldwell Banker in Southern California and said Ten Sixty could โ€œtake you all over the world with short-form videos, which is the name of the game todayโ€.

โ€œThe great thing about Ten Sixty is that itโ€™s international and nothingโ€™s more fun than checking them out. 

โ€œIdeally, you can share properties with your clients, which is what makes it so great. 

โ€œItโ€™s also a very creative way to explore property. It gives it a personal aspect to have the actual video tour and itโ€™s so easy.โ€

Glennda Baker, one of the top agents on TikTok, said the app helped agents create professional walk-through videos in just 60 seconds.
