Rolling in the dollars: Adele set to buy Rocky’s house

Singer Adele is getting ready to move into Sylvester Stalloneโ€™s Beverly Park Mansion after reportedly making an offer on the movie starโ€™s property.

According to Dirt, Adele offered US$58 million for Stalloneโ€™s extravagant 1430sq m, 3.5 acre estate.

Real estate sources have called the US$58 million purchase price a โ€œsteal,โ€ given the property was last offered at US$80 million, and Stallone originally wanted US$110 million for the property.

Despite being forced to accept far less than he originally wanted, the US$58 million price tag would still make the property the most expensive Beverly Park estate ever sold.

The exclusive gated community of Beverly Park is known for its huge mansions with current residents including Denzel Washington, The Rock, Justin Bieber, Magic Johnson, Mark Wahlberg and Sofia Vergara.

The exclusive compound includes six bedrooms and nine bathrooms in the main house with a gorgeous master suite w/dual baths, sauna, steam room and office with terrace. The two-storey Richard Landry designed guesthouse is its own residence with living and dining rooms, kitchen and two bedroom suites.

The spectacular grounds offer an extraordinary resort-style setting with sprawling lawns, patios, putting green and infinity pool and spa, eight-car garage and art studio. Situated behind private gates at the end of a cul-de-sac and up a long driveway, this property is “a world unto itself”, according to agent Tomer Fridman’s official listing.ย

The deal is reportedly yet to close, with Adele still needing to sign off on the inspection reports and remove any other contingencies.

Over the past decade, Adele has reportedly earned an impressive US$400 million. Sheโ€™s previously invested in real estate, acquiring a three-house, $30 million compound elsewhere in Beverly Hills.
