RiTA by AiRE wins industry innovation award second year running

RiTA by AiRE has won the Industry Innovation Award at the 2021 Real Estate Institute of Queensland Awards For Excellence.

It is the second year in a row the Brisbane-based AI tech company has won the innovation award.

The annual REIQ Awards For Excellence recognise and celebrate excellence in the Queensland real estate industry and encourage and promote best practice.

AiRE’s key innovation recognised in the 2021 awards was the introduction of automated, two-way SMS conversations by RiTA.

“Last year, we were able to tell our customers which phone calls were critical to make,” AiRE Chief Executive Officer Ian Campbell said.

“That saved them time and made them more effective with the calls that they were making.

“This year, we went one step further and removed the need for them to make calls at all for a significant percentage of their contacts.”

Mr Campbell said some business owners believed their agents were not prospecting hard enough, but AiRE had a different view.

“There is a genuine problem with agents not having the time to deliver the depth and breadth of service that both the consumer expects and the industry wants to deliver,” he said.

“We are completely committed to helping our customers solve the problem of scale in real estate.”

AiRE was founded in 2017 and RiTA was born that same year.

Since then, more than 4050 agents in Australia and New Zealand have jumped on board to use RiTA as their digital assistant.

AiRE Co-founder Sarah Bell said AiRE’s approach to innovation had “always been about a conversation with the industry”.

“We seek to understand the challenges our customers face which results in them having such a strong voice within RiTA’s design and ongoing improvement,” she said.

AiRE’s purpose is to create conversations that build trust. This helps the company focus on the right problems to solve.

“I am very passionate about the industry because I know, from personal experience, how important it is for an agent to provide a great service,” Mr Campbell said.

“Any matters of the home are often matters of the heart.

“The more time we can give back to agents to spend on the human elements and the more tasks we delegate to robots like RiTA, the better.”
