Rex Software online learning program aims to foster closer ties with users

Real estate industry CRM platform Rex Software has just announced a new initiative to give agents a boost, with a free two-month program aimed at helping better integrate technology into their businesses to drive productivity and build better relationships with clients.

The free eight-week-long learning program, which will run throughout February and March, Rexfest, is open to all agency owners, agents and administrative staff and is designed to support agencies with becoming more adept at smart automation technology and enable stronger working relationships.

As a result of lockdowns and rapid technological change over the past year, many in the industry have been forced to adopt new practices and adapt to unfamiliar work environments.

The company said this shifting landscape had led to an increased reliance on human connection and made trust an even more vital component of property transactions.

Rex Product Manager Tom McCarthy said 1800 agents relied on the company’s technology to help provide their customers with an exceptional experience on a daily basis.

“But expectations for what makes a selling or buying experience ‘exceptional’ are changing in these uncertain times,” Mr McCarthy said. “Buyers and sellers expect better, more personalised, faster service.”

Last April, after home isolation and lockdown came into effect across Australia, Rex CRM launched Rexopoly, a learning experience that integrated video game design and game elements to help participants learn new skills.

“In 2020, we gave our users access to 6328 hours of free training, to help both agents and admin use the enforced down time productively,” Rex’s CEO Anton Babkov said.

“We received heartwarming feedback about the impact Rexopoly has had on our users’ day-to-day lives, so as a company we made a commitment to do even more in 2021.”

The company is hoping to build on that success and offer further support to its users with Rexfest, which will engage with participants by implementing industry best practice, online training and new feature announcements that will be distributed via panel discussions, podcasts, videos, blog posts and more.

Rexfest facilitators and participants will include Mr McCarthy and Mr Babkov, as well as a variety of developers, designers and customer carers, together with Rex users in agencies across Australia and New Zealand.

The company has pledged several releases throughout the festival, including a feature-filled calendar, Zapier integration, and automation functionality to extend the current capabilities of the product and “take care of the tedious, monotonous tasks”.

“During Rexfest, our users will be encouraged to invest some time evaluating their current processes and workflows, and identify opportunities to innovate in a supportive environment,” McCarthy said.

Rexfest runs from February 9. Keep checking Rex Software’s website to stay up to date with Rexfest’s weekly wrap-ups.
