Usher buys Cara Delevingne’s Boho-style Hollywood hills home

London-born model and actress sisters Cara and Poppy Delevingne have quietly offloaded their Hollywood hills home to singer Usher Raymond.

According to The Dirt, the OMG and Yeah! artist paid US$3.4 million for the 1950s property, which was once owned by actor and musician Jared Leto.

Sitting on a quarter-acre block, the white stucco structure is tucked away off the street behind large walls and gates.

Inside there are four bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across just over 370sq m of two-level living space, which was customised to the Delevingne’s personal tastes in collaboration with LA-based architect Nicolò Bini, as seen in a 2019 Architectural Digest article.

The chic home is filled with natural light, with a stunning living room featuring a floor-to-ceiling fireplace along with a series of large windows and timber floors.

An emerald-lacquered dining room offers a formal space to entertain and sets a beautiful contrast to the white and bright kitchen, while the rattan monkey chandelier makes a unique statement piece.

The all-white kitchen impresses with it’s marble benchtops, including a large island bench, while stainless steel appliances complement modern farmhouse-style cabinetry and large sink.

On the lower level, there’s an Art Deco inspired master suite along with a bonus room that could be used as a recording studio.

The guest bedroom is also sophisticated with its hand-painted de Gournay wallpaper featuring monkeys and toucans, an ensuite and sliding doors that open to a wraparound balcony that’s perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch.

A wet bar-equipped lounge/game room spills out to palm tree-laced grounds hosting a tile-lined pool and spa, built-in barbecue and fire-pit; and elsewhere is a tree-shaded al fresco dining deck and a two-car garage.
