Singer, songwriter and actress Miley Cyrus has offloaded her Nashville Ranch for a massive profit after just five years.
According to The Dirt, the Wrecking Ball singer sold the 33.5-acre estate for US$14.5 million having paid just US$5.8 million in 2017.
While Cyrus might have made a few interior changes, photos of the property suggest it is in much the same condition as when she bought it five years ago.
Located about 30km south of Nashville, the ranch is set within a fully-gated community.
Most of the sprawling property is heavily wooded and the circa-2014 main house has no close neighbours.
The farmhouse-style main residence includes 650sq m of living space, plus a smaller, detached, barn-style building that would make a perfect recording studio, guesthouse or party pavilion.
In addition to five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two powder rooms, that structure offers a covered porch area, reclaimed wood flooring, a kitchen with premium Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a rooftop deck, and a main floor master suite with a fireplace and soaking tub.
The deal was struck off-market, meaning there are few details, however, itโs believed the buyer is Matt Frauenshuh, a Minneapolis native who is now the biggest franchisee of Dairy Queens worldwide, owning more than 200 stores.
Records suggest the US$14.5 million sale price is the second-highest for a Nashville-area home this year, behind only the US$18 million that Reese Witherspoon paid for a larger compound in Nashvilleโs prestigious Belle Meade neighbourhood.
Cyrus has been busy selling down her property portfolio, last year offloading her Architectural Digest-featured Hidden Hills home for US$7.2 million, and in 2020 she sold a secluded Malibu home to songwriter Matthew Wilder.ย
However, she still owns a US$4 million home in the leafy foothills of Studio City.
