Ben Stephens is no stranger to running a real estate business.
As a second-generation agent, he knows only too well what’s involved in building a successful agency.
After all, his dad was in the industry, his mum ran a Coolangatta agency and Ben also previously built his own highly-regarded brand.
Now, he’s set to do it all over again, this time in partnership with the Agents’Agency.
On January 23, Ben launched Stephens Estate Agents, a boutique brand that taps into his deep knowledge of the Southern Gold Coast and Northern NSW property markets.
Ben started out in the real estate industry almost two decades ago and has established a reputation as an agent known for his down-to-earth advice, superb market insight and personalised approach.
Over the years, he’s taken time out to travel, and even spent a year sourcing locations for movie sets, but says he can’t resist the allure of an industry that runs deep in his veins.
“Australia has an incredible appetite for real estate,” Ben explains.
“I just love the thrill of working with people and helping them achieve the best possible result for their property.”
Ben prides himself on guiding his clients through the process of buying or selling a property.
He’s the type of agent who believes it’s not about the transaction but involves helping people achieve their property dreams and goals.
“I like to position myself in my client’s shoes. For me it’s not about high volume but people and relationships,” he says.
“I enjoy offering honest advice and getting the type of results that can change people’s lives.”
With two young children, Ben says starting a new business in partnership with a national network was an easy choice.
“I’ve known Agents’Agency founders Manos and Maria Findikakis for a long time,” he says.
“I love the idea of being able to focus on listing and selling property with all the back-of-house administration taken care of.
“And I’ve been down the road of going into business before so I understand how important it is to partner with the right people.”
Ben explains since he first began serious discussions with the Agents’Agency last year, the onboarding process has been nothing short of outstanding.
“The quality of work and support provided is second to none, and the deep level of respect that everyone has for each other in the network speaks for itself,” he says.
Keen to embark on his new business venture, Ben has hit the ground running, with three properties already listed and a further three set to come to market within the next week.
“I’m looking forward to offering the type of personalised real estate service that people rave about and recommend to their friends,” he says.
“And best of all, I get to do it in a region I know, love, and have the good fortune to call home.”
