New Ray White powerhouse in the Sutherland Shire

Five of the most successful real estate agents in the Sutherland Shire have joined forces to open the new Ray White Cronulla office.

Matt Debreczeni and Gavin Ottaway, the owners of the Ray White Menai and Sutherland businesses, have teamed up with Matt Johnston, Jill Yankos and Charlie Yankos to open the Cronulla business, creating a real estate powerhouse across the Sutherland Shire.

“Our Cronulla office is an extension of the hugely successful businesses at Menai and Sutherland. We’ll draw on the strength of the systems and structure already in place and bring an unrivalled one-on-one customer experience for the people of Cronulla and surrounding suburbs,” Ms Yankos said.

“Everyone aspires to be in Cronulla, it is such a sought-after beachside destination with great lifestyle benefits of amazing cafes and restaurants.

“We see a lot of people who are downsizing from the Menai area and all over The Shire to live by the beach. We have a great choice of beaches and parks to enjoy, and beautiful coastal walks as well.

“We are seeing more family homes selling and we’ll help all downsizers and upsizers.

“It is an aspirational suburb and there are many luxury apartments that have been built or are currently under construction in Cronulla.”

“Our goal is to be successful in a competitive market and to keep growing the Ray White brand. We aim to provide a very strong brand for our clients,” Jill said.

Combining their personalised service and local knowledge with the Ray White brand, Matt Johnston and Jill Yankos will be at the forefront of the Cronulla business.

“We promise to provide very strong communication to both sellers and buyers throughout the sale and continue to achieve outstanding results for our clients ” Matt Johnston said.

“Collectively, we have 24 years experience working in the area. Our goal is to bring a greater level of service to the community we know and love.”

With the real estate market in Cronulla going from strength to strength, Matt and Jill both agree that it’s an exciting time.

“Cronulla is a diverse market with everything from affordable units to high-end prestige property. We’re seeing lots of buyers move in which is having a really positive effect on property values in the area,” they said. The current median price for houses in Cronulla is $1.945M and for units its $825,000.

Ray White NSW Chairman, Stephen Nell said it was a pleasure to welcome the Cronulla team to the Group.

“Matt and Gavin have enjoyed many years of success with Ray White and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing ambitious people taking their business to new heights. Matt Johnston, Charlie and Jill bring genuine value to the local real estate market. They have all enjoyed exceptional careers in real estate and we look forward to supporting the team as they grow,” he said.

For the Ray White Cronulla team, their ambition is clear: strive for excellence.

“Making sure our customers have the very best experience as they go on their property journey is the most important thing. Our goal is to be the business of choice for our community.”
