New proptech ListReady is capturing the market with a clever alternative to manage property listing expenses

Marketing is one of the best investments a vendor can make to attract buyers and create competition. An innovative tech-based ‘pay later’ solution is revolutionising this process by providing an alternative to credit cards to cover advertising and other listing-related expenses.

ListReady, an online payment platform for agencies is a new player in the space that’s giving agents the edge to winning over vendors and listing properties ready for sale.

Vendors have the option to postpone listing costs until their property settles without the cash outflow and repayment risk.

Instead of an upfront payment, ListReady covers the amount on behalf of the vendor and transfers funds to the agency directly upon confirmation so they can start marketing straight away.

ListReady CEO Clayton Howes said the best thing about the product is the value it’s creating for both agents and vendors, and it’s so simple to use.

“ListReady aims to make agents’ lives easier with a risk-free and user-friendly service that is assisting the sales process, and by taking the awkward ‘money conversation’ out of the equation on how much to spend to make it a good listing,” Mr Howes said.

“Instead of having pre-sale costs sitting on the company or personal credit card, vendors are able to use ListReady to access market-leading advertising that gives their property exposure.”

Mr Howes set the ListReady proposition in motion realising the industry could use a more efficient payment solution.

In less than six months, the company says they have rolled out nationwide with distinguished agencies across Australia, including Ray White, Biggin & Scott and Raine & Horne, with almost 1,000 agents now actively engaging with the platform.

Mr Howes said ListReady has achieved significant growth in the second half of 2019 and he feels this trend won’t slow down.

More than just a VPA solution, ListReady covers a wide array of listing costs ranging from staging and styling to handyman services and repairs.

“And this is all just the beginning,” Mr Howes said. “Stay tuned for big things to come from ListReady.”

ListReady is powered by the multi-award-winning intelligent technology of sister company MoneyMe, who was crowned ‘Innovator of the Year’ at the My Business Fintech awards in 2019.
