McGrath West launches Super Saturday 2026

McGrath West Group has launched its 2026 Super Saturday auction campaign, marking the sixth season of their highly successful strategy which culminates in a gala day of on-site auctions on January 31.

It marks the sixth season of their highly successful strategy which culminates in a gala day of on-site auctions on January 31.

Agents across McGrath West offices – Parramatta, Blacktown, Northwest, Castle Hill, Hawkesbury, Beecroft and Epping – have commenced the campaign with invitations to sellers to list their properties between October and December, ready to launch on Boxing Day.

Principal of McGrath West Group Kon Stathopoulos said timing is crucial for both sellers and buyers, particularly in this buoyant market.

“Our strategy for clients thinking of selling in the new year is to list now or go later,” he said.

“The concept has been proven successful five years in a row.

By listing in the last quarter of the year, our clients and their properties are ready to welcome buyers from Boxing Day,” said Mr Stathopoulos.

“Our world-class marketing assets are scheduled to capture the attention of buyers in what is traditionally a lull of four to five weeks where no new stock comes to market.

This enables our buyers to beat the post-Christmas market.”

January 10th is slated as the first official open-home for the marketing campaign over four weeks from December 26th.

The group’s January Super Saturday auction concept has proven highly successful over the previous five years with a 70 to 82 per cent auction clearance rate, and every property sold within 30 to 40 days of its auction.

Last year, a fifth of all auctions held in the country that weekend were through McGrath West Group.

A team of 18 exclusive auctioneers from McGrath, including recent REINSW Auctioneer of the Year award winners Paul Hancock and Stuart Ritchie, will officiate Super Saturday.

A target of 200 auction properties has been set by McGrath West Group.

“Super Saturday creates an environment of energy, excitement and urgency that drives outstanding results,” Mr Stathopoulos said.

“It’s marketing in isolation, it’s concentration of effort, it’s cross-selling of buyers, and it’s excitement and energy at the very beginning of the year when everyone’s fresh and wants to buy.”

The group believes the scheme is just as powerful for buyers as it is for sellers.

With seven McGrath offices working together across more than 200 suburbs, buyers will have access to an unmatched choice of properties all launching on the same day.

The McGrath West Group shares a database of over 300,000 prospective buyers who will be alerted to the properties on offer on Super Saturday.

McGrath’s social media channels will be utilised to ensure maximum exposure of properties available.

“The coordinated campaign means more opportunities, greater transparency, and the convenience of inspecting and bidding with confidence in one action-packed event,” Mr Stathopoulos said.
