John Fogerty lists luxurious Hidden Valley mansion

Music icon John Fogerty has decided to part ways with his extravagant Hidden Valley mansion, a Tuscan-style mega-villa spanning an impressive 1672sq m.

The lavish property, situated in the ranch community near Thousand Oaks, has been listed on the market for just under US$20 million, according to Architectural Digest.

Constructed in 2004, the H-shaped residence, predominantly comprising a single level, is nestled on 8.9 hectares within the gated community of White Stallion Ranch.

Renowned Los Angeles architect Ron Firestone, whose clientele includes celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Marlon Brando, and Carol Burnett, was responsible for the design.

Upon acquiring the estate in 2013, Fogerty extensively renovated the property, incorporating state-of-the-art recording studios and two movie theatre.

Notably, the temperature-controlled wine walls were retained.

The interior boasts numerous highlights, including two offices, nine bedrooms, and a second-floor apartment complete with a bedroom and living room.

The great room offers cathedral wood-beam ceilings and one of the property’s five fireplaces.

The primary bedroom features marble hallways and separate bathrooms for both Fogerty and his wife, Julie Kramer.

According to the listing, the house offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and ocean from nearly every vantage point.

Outside, Fogerty and Kramer transformed the rugged terrain by introducing drought-tolerant plants and artificial grass.

Additionally, the grounds feature a custom pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen and dining area, multiple striking firepits, a greenhouse, and a detached guesthouse.
