Jenkins & Co Property Tasmania launches in Launceston

Jenkins & Co Tasmania has launched in Launceston with the arrival of the boutique brand coinciding with the expansion of UrbanX into the state.

After 16 years in the industry, working under the traditional franchise model, Phillipa Jenkins made the decision to launch her own brand, and stand out from her competition, with the support of UrbanX.

As the owner of her business, Ms Jenkins said she was excited to be able to make the best decisions for her clients and create a more personalised experience in the local market.

“I first got into the industry after selling my house, while going through a divorce, so I understand that everyone has different reasons for selling,” she said.

“No two properties and no two people are the same, so I am motivated to be able to establish exactly what my clients want and deliver the best possible outcome for them.

“One of the benefits of working for myself is that I will be agile. I can make decisions quickly and if a vendor wants to change something throughout the process, I can do it quickly, without needing to seek approvals.”

Ms Jenkins said she was also looking forward to the opportunity to continue to grow professionally. In the past she found it professional development more limited, but the chance to branch out on her own, with the support of UrbanX, felt like the logical next step to take her career to the next level.

“UrbanX made it so easy for me to set up my business,” she said.

“I would not have been able to do it without them. They guided me through every step of the process and in eight weeks I had my own business and brand, that I was ready to launch.”

The decision to partner with UrbanX was easy for Ms Jenkins, and after launching her own business, she knows she made the right choice.

“They are a forward-thinking company and have their finger on the pulse,” she said.

“The team know everything that is happening in the industry, and I know that if there is any new technology available that would benefit me, they would be first to know about it.

“They will allow me to focus on listing and selling property, while supporting me to run my business, it is so refreshing.”

After first getting into the industry as a single parent of three, real estate has changed Ms Jenkins’ and her family’s life.

Ms Jenkins is so proud to be working under her own brand and, as her daughter studies to enter the industry, she is excited to leave a legacy with her own business.
