Entry Education expands and sets a new pace in NSW

Australia’s largest real estate academy, Entry Education, is expanding its operations in NSW.

With a new office just a few kilometres from Sydney’s CBD, along with competitive prices and quality services, business is booming.

Group Chief Executive Officer Matthew Trounce attributed Entry’s ongoing success to its dedicated customer service.

“We’ve been delivering the best real estate education nationally for nine years,” Mr Trounce said.

“When you put your students at the centre of everything you do, you earn their loyalty and trust.”

NSW students who are completing their courses online through the office in Alexandria are receiving the same level of expertise for which Entry Education is renowned.

But it doesn’t end there. New course workshops are also being set up in locations across metro and rural NSW.

These are for students who want to experience face-to-face learning and, ultimately, get through their courses with more support.

Entry flies their best trainers and assessors to NSW for the full-day workshops, to work alongside the local NSW trainers and assessors to ensure students receive the highest level of teaching available.

Courses offered in NSW by Entry Education include the Assistant Agent course and the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

The Assistant Agent course will meet the education requirement for you to apply for a Certificate of Registration NSW, and is the minimum requirement for any person looking to sell or lease property in NSW.

This course consists of five units of competence.

The Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice course is what you study if you want to obtain your Class 2 Real Estate Licence.

Once you’ve completed the course, along with 12-months industry experience and applied for your registration from the NSW Office of Fair Trading, you can work independently in sales, leasing, owners’ corporations and property management.

In fact, you can live and work anywhere in NSW with this qualification, but keep in mind that Class 2 licence holders aren’t authorised to open or operate their own real estate agency.

The Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice consists of 18 study units, of which 13 are core and five are electives.

NSW State Government support

Does getting government support to study real estate sound good? Well, it’s true. At Entry Education NSW, you can study selected courses at no cost.

This assistance is due to a contract between Entry Education and the NSW State Government. Through the Smart & Skilled program, Entry can offer a number of courses for free under a traineeship arrangement.

Traineeships are work-study arrangements that combine practical experience with formal study through a registered training organisation such as Entry Education (RTO 41529).

For more information about the Smart & Skilled traineeship option, go to the NSW mortgage broking and real estate traineeships page on Entry’s website.

Recognition of prior learning

If you’re already an established NSW Class 2 real estate agent, Entry Education offers a Recognition of prior learning (RPL) arrangement to those who want to earn their Diploma of Property – Agency Management.

Entry’s Diploma of Property – Agency Management (CPP51122) will qualify you for work in senior real estate roles, such as Licensee in Charge and Agency Manager in NSW.

This means you’ll be authorised to run your own agency once you complete the course and apply for your registration.

The course includes 12 study units and Entry Education offer a fast-track RPL option for students who can demonstrate substantial real estate industry experience.

This option combines conventional study with RPL where evidence can be provided by the student.

When this prior experience aligns with the requirements for the Diploma of Property – Agency Management, it will count towards the completion of the course.

Why Entry Education?

At Entry Education, the courses are designed to accommodate your schedule. Whether you’re busy at work or spending your day off at Bondi Beach, you have the choice to study at another time that works for you.

The easy-to-navigate internet portal makes online study easy, and the after-hours student support system means you’ll have access to personalised tutorial help, if required.

Entry Education’s sense of responsibility towards their students doesn’t end when they complete their coursework.
