Ben Affleck and JLo buy their dream home

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have finally found their dream home in the posh Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles.

The Hollywood power couple has entered escrow on a 139sq m Hamptons-style mansion, complete with seven bedrooms and numerous bathrooms, according to Dirt.com.

The estate, built just last year, was listed for US$34.5 million by a group of developers and has not yet officially transferred, but the couple is said to have entered escrow.

The property is set on a one acre lot surrounded by native sycamore trees, which provide natural privacy from the road.

The estate features tall walls, hedges, a pea-gravel motor court accessed via a brick porte-cochère, and a climate-controlled six-car garage.

Inside, the mansion has a muted neutral colour palette throughout, with natural light flooding the living and dining rooms.

The home library has direct access to a covered patio, ideal for entertaining.

The mansion also boasts a movie theater, gym, wine cellar, and a ‘health spa’.

The estate has four kitchens, including a gourmet kitchen, a separate service kitchen, a full outdoor kitchen, and a kitchen in the detached guesthouse.

The main house has six bedrooms, with the primary suite offering a sitting room, dual bathrooms, dual closets, and a balcony overlooking the backyard.

Outside, a dark-bottom pool is surrounded by a large patio, and there are grassy lawns for play.

Lopez, 53, is selling her resort-like Bel Air home for $42 million, while Affleck, 50, sold his Palisades bachelor pad for $28 million last year.

The couple reportedly negotiated a discount on the asking price of the Pacific Palisades estate, but the exact amount remains unknown.

Despite the hefty price tag, the mansion has ample space for Bennifer and their entourage, who are sure to make the most of the estate’s luxurious amenities.
