A Night Without Home campaign raises more than $1 million to support those experiencing homelessness

Property industry's A Home for All Foundation raises over $1 million in its inaugural campaign to combat homelessness caused by domestic violence. The "A Night Without Home" initiative asked participants to experience one night without basic comforts, highlighting the reality faced by more than 122,000 Australians nightly.

The property industry led A Home for All Foundation has raised almost $1.02 million through its inaugural A Night Without Home campaign.

A Home for All Foundation was established in September 2025 and builds upon the real estate sector’s ongoing advocacy and action to tackle homelessness in Australia.

Throughout the first year of the Foundation, all funds raised will be allocated to charities who support people experiencing homelessness as a result of domestic and family violence.

This number has grown significantly in recent years, more than doubling from 2021 to 2024.

When selecting organisations that will receive funds raised, the Foundationโ€™s Advisory Committee will set robust criteria that align with the priorities of the family and domestic violence sector.

The Foundationโ€™s aim is to address gaps in current funding and to ensure funds are channelled where they are needed most.

The Foundationโ€™s inaugural campaign this October asked people to spend one night in the shoes of someone experiencing homelessness โ€“ a reality for more than 122,000 Australians face on any given night.

Homelessness is not always visible, and those who got behind the cause spent a night without the basic comforts of home.

A Home for All Foundation Advisory Committee Member and Head of Organisational Development at Ray White, Natalie Hortz, said:

“Ray White kicked off our support for the foundation at our Connect 2025 conference, where we live auctioned to a crowd of 3,000 people an incredible line-up of experiences and prizes that money canโ€™t usually buy. Our industry is powerful and weโ€™re in a position to help drive this change and to start important conversations that help make a real difference in local communities.โ€

A Home for All Foundation Advisory Committee Chair and CEO of LJ Hooker, Christine Mikhael, commented:

โ€œThe fundraising success of A Night Without Home highlights whatโ€™s possible when our industry unites and works together. The momentum weโ€™ve seen so far has been incredible and itโ€™s only the beginning. The Foundationโ€™s Advisory Committee is determined to drive meaningful change and will direct our fundraising efforts to charities with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions to tackle homelessness.

โ€œA heartfelt thank you to our incredible launch partners, our matched donation partners, and to every single person who has participated and donated to help us reach our initial fundraising goal.โ€

100% of funds raised from the campaign will be distributed in early 2026.
