Sydney’s leading property group BresicWhitney has announced a leadership transition, with Chief Executive Officer Thomas McGlynn set to move on from the business in the coming weeks.
Following a record month in February 2026 which saw the group transact on over $420 million of Sydney property, BresicWhitney will remain focused on continuity, strategic clarity, and stability for its people and its clients.
BresicWhitney Chief Operating Officer Will Gosse, who has been with the group for over a decade, will step into the role of Acting CEO of BresicWhitney.
Effective immediately, he will continue to work alongside the group’s Leadership Team.
In celebrating and thanking Thomas McGlynn, Mr Gosse said: “Thomas has been a visionary leader for BresicWhitney.
“His passion for what we do, and how we do it at BW, has always been clear.
“His legacy is one of integrity, humility, and a deep care for those around him.
“It’s one we carry forward with sincere gratitude, continuing to build on the best of the past, to create an even better future.
“On behalf of everyone at BresicWhitney, we wish Thomas all the very best, and thank him once again for his leadership.”
Mr McGlynn reflected on his time with the group warmly: “BresicWhitney is a place where people are genuinely invested in each other’s success.
“That’s not something that happens without intention and focus, and it’s not something that changes with a leadership transition, either.”
“My time at BresicWhitney has been an enormous privilege,” he continued.
“I’m grateful for the support and trust during my time as CEO and immensely proud of what we have achieved together.
“I have complete confidence in the business and the talented leaders who will continue to shape the path forward.”
An announcement on the group’s next CEO will be made in due course.
BresicWhitney will remain focused on driving forward strategic priorities, including people-centric decision-making.
“We remain focused on future-proofing the diverse opportunities for our people, the competitive advantage we offer our clients and customers, and adding long-term value to our local Sydney communities,” Mr Gosse concluded.
