Carey Smith has made an enormous contribution to the Ray White Group’s growth momentum over the past 35 years, holding various roles in Australia before becoming CEO of Ray White New Zealand in 1998 and, more recently, Executive Chairman of Ray White New Zealand in December 2022.
During his time as CEO, he led the Ray White New Zealand network from a fledgling position to a market-leading group.
“This announcement formalises the contribution Carey has been making over the past three years since the successful appointment of Daniel Coulson as CEO of Ray White New Zealand,” Dan White said.
“He adds capacity, experience and stature to the development and growth of a new generation of leadership throughout Australia and New Zealand, both within our own corporate team and our network.
“I’m sure this announcement will be celebrated by our members, excited to know that Carey has commenced a new chapter that promises to be as significant as his previous ones.

And nobody has better exemplified that than Carey,” said Brian White.
