The decision represents a significant shift in leadership philosophy, moving away from a single figurehead toward a collaborative model that leverages diverse expertise and talent across the network.
“This is about building depth and creating opportunities for our entire team,” Mr Andrew said.
“Rather than concentrating auction leadership in one role, we’re empowering a panel of exceptional auctioneers who bring different perspectives, experiences, and strengths to our business.”
Mr Andrew emphasised the importance of diversity within the panel, particularly highlighting the inclusion of three accomplished female auctioneers; Tara Burgin, Tiera Butkus, and Georgia Turner.
“The future of our industry depends on recognising and nurturing talent regardless of gender,” he said.
“Tara, Tiera, and Georgia represent the next generation of auction excellence, and their inclusion demonstrates our commitment to creating pathways for women in leadership roles.”
The corporate auctioneer panel also includes Ray White Queensland Chief Operating Officer Gavin Croft, industry stalwart Peter Burgin, as well as young gun and Ray White Australasian Auctioneer of the year Tom Gunness.
The panel structure is designed to provide Ray White Queensland offices with access to a broader range of auction expertise while supporting the network’s growth trajectory.
With the ambitious target of 10,000 auctions per year, the collaborative approach ensures capacity, consistency, and flexibility across the state’s diverse property markets.
“This model allows us to serve more clients, support more offices, and maintain our best in market standards of auction excellence across Queensland,” Mr Andrew said.
“It’s about collective strength rather than individual capability.”
The initiative also reflects Ray White Queensland’s forward-thinking approach to talent development, creating clear career pathways for emerging auctioneers while maintaining the experience and gravitas of established industry leaders.
Mr Andrew said the collaborative structure would enhance service delivery across the network.
“This gives us the ability to meet growing demand while ensuring every auction receives the attention and expertise it deserves,” he said.
The announcement positions Ray White Queensland as an industry leader in both innovation and inclusivity, setting a benchmark for how real estate networks can evolve to meet contemporary market demands while championing diversity and opportunity.
