The new office will be led by industry experts and selling principals Darren Pratt, Jamie Wood, and Stephen Moss.
In July this year, Darren and Jamie, longstanding Ray White Barossa Valley business owners, also took ownership of Ray White Clare Valley.
Now, with the opening of Ray White Golden Grove, they will combine their extensive market knowledge and a track record of success, with Stephen leading the new office.
The launch represents a strategic move into one of Adelaide’s fastest-growing residential corridors, bringing together deep local knowledge with Ray White’s proven systems and support structures.
Darren said: “We’re keeping the team firmly focused on the ground, with the full backing of our Barossa Valley operation and Jamie’s expertise as South Australia’s top agent”.
For Stephen, the Golden Grove office is more than a business venture – it’s a homecoming.
Stephen was born in Broken Hill and moved to Adelaide when he was five years old.
Having lived in the area for over 20 years after relocating from Broken Hill, NSW at the age of 12, Stephen has watched the suburb transform and mature.
“My wife and I continue to raise our three kids here, and I’ve seen this area evolve into something really special,” he said.
“With the creeks, the abundance of schools, and the strong community feel, it’s a beautiful place to live and raise a family.”
Jamie is recognised as South Australia’s number one agent, providing invaluable mentorship and training for the Golden Grove team.
The decision to open now comes as Golden Grove enters what Stephen describes as another growth phase, driven by significant development opportunities in the surrounding area.
“This area is booming and it’s about to boom again,” he explained.
“There’s substantial land along Parra Valley Road that’s coming onto the market, including a vineyard at the back of the estate. When that development gets underway, we’ll see significant growth.”
The location also benefits from proximity to the Barossa Valley, with lifestyle property buyers creating natural crossover between the regions.
The nearby industrial areas in the north and north east, also contributes to employment growth and housing demand, he said.
The team is working hard to establish strong local relationships, according to Stephen who said the market in Golden Grove was particularly strong for first home buyers and young families, drawn by relatively affordable housing stock, excellent schools, and lifestyle amenities.
“We’re building our database and getting embedded in the community before we even open the doors,” he said.
“That grassroots connection is crucial to understanding and serving this market.
“The next six months will focus on building market share by providing great results and customer service for our clients, establishing the office as the go-to agency for the Golden Grove area, and creating a strong foundation for long-term growth.”
Ray White SA/NT CEO Matt Lindblom sees Golden Grove as a natural fit for the network’s expansion strategy.
“Golden Grove represents exactly the kind of growth corridor where Ray White can deliver exceptional value,” he said.
“With Darren’s real estate knowledge and experience, Jamie’s proven track record, and Stephen leading the day-to-day sales in this local market, we’re bringing together the perfect combination of community connection and professional excellence.”
