There’s luxury, and then there’s Versace luxury. A Pyrmont apartment dressed entirely in the designer brand – right down to the intercom – is attracting interest from buyers around the world.
Located at 41/56A Pirrama Road, the harbourside residence is being marketed by Ray White Everest Group’s Fan Li, who says the property’s original owners went all in on the lavish theme.
“The original owners input the Versace design in the very beginning when it was built in 2008,” Mr Li said.
“It cost about $4 million to complete the Versace design, with all real Versace including the carpets and the fireplace. Even the intercom is Versace,” he said.

“There’s lashings of 24k gold from the bathrooms to the door handles.”
The current owners purchased the apartment already fully fitted out a decade ago, and it’s now drawing attention from far beyond Sydney’s shores.
“I have some enquiry from America from buyers who want these Sydney views. We also have another enquiry from Europe,” Mr Li said.
“It might suit those who own a yacht as it has its own marina berth.
“I think it would suit a downsizer as its single storey, and also professional business people given its close proximity to the city.”

While the gold-and-grecian styling is hard to miss, Mr Li said the design can be a matter of taste.
“Some people don’t like Versace,” he said. “But they are attracted to the views, the location, and the marina berth. They can always change the design.”

No price guide has been released, but Mr Li pointed to a recent comparable sale with unit 45 selling for $23 million in 2024.
Even for those who prefer a little less gilding, it’s not every day a home like this, complete with marina berth, harbour views, and full Versace credentials, hits the Sydney market.
