Leading Australasian real estate brand Raine & Horne has appointed Bill Dimou as Network Performance Manager for South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory as the company accelerates its expansion across these regions.
Mr Dimou brings over 35 years of senior management experience with leading Australian companies, including Woolworths, Westfield, and News Corp, as well as more than four years in state management roles for another real estate brand across South Australia and Western Australia.
In his new role, he will work closely with Raine & Horne Principals to strengthen business performance, identify growth opportunities and build market share.
Chris Nicholl, CEO of Raine & Horne, said Mr Dimou’s leadership background made him the ideal choice for the newly created position.
“Bill has a strong background in management, sales, operations and marketing, with extensive experience across retail, shopping centre management, media and real estate,” Mr Nicholl said.
“He is known for his authenticity, honesty and integrity and his commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.”
“His ability to lead diverse teams, identify growth opportunities and coach through change has consistently built high-performing, people-focused businesses.”
Mr Dimou, a licensed real estate agent who also holds a Diploma of Property Management Services from REISA, believes the key to building strong industry relationships is always putting people first.
“It’s about earning trust and building relationships that allow you to support business owners,” Mr Dimou said.
“In roles like this, you’re there to advise and assist – if people respect you, they’ll listen, and that’s the foundation for helping them grow.”
Mr Dimou said Raine & Horne’s culture of trust and innovation, underpinned by its 142-year legacy, drew him to the role, which came at the right time after he had completed several personal business projects, including the successful sale of his vineyard.
“I’ve always loved working in real estate and had plenty of dealings with Angus Raine during my time at News Corp,” he said.
“When Angus reached out, and I later met Chris Nicholl, I was excited about the chance to use my experience to support the Raine & Horne network across SA, WA and NT.”
Having been in business for more than 35 years with some of Australia’s biggest companies, Mr Dimou prides himself on integrity and fostering outstanding customer experiences.
“Building strong, trusted relationships has been at the heart of my career, and that aligns perfectly with Raine & Horne’s values of trust and innovation,” he said.
Mr Dimou was also impressed with the group’s technology leadership.
“Raine & Horne’s digital suite of industry firsts, including social media marketing platform Amplify and online proposal tool DigiKitPlus, is one of the most impressive I’ve seen in the industry,” Mr Dimou said.
“They give our principals, agents and property managers in South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory a powerful competitive edge.”
