Arriving in Australia as a refugee just six years ago, Ali’s life is a testament to what can be achieved when hard work meets unwavering support.
Facing a language barrier and an uncertain future, received $2000 from the government, and temporary accommodation.
Mark Sheppard, Business Owner of Harcourts Sheppard, recounted Ali’s extraordinary journey, starting with six months of work experience, progressing to part-time roles, and culminating in his selection as the office’s first impressions team member.

Soon after, Ali’s dedication and talent earned him the Office Administrator of the Year Award for Harcourts South Australia, followed by the coveted national title.
His achievements in administration were only the beginning of his ambitions. With his move into sales, Ali recently sold his very first property, with more in the pipeline, showcasing his growing expertise in the field.
