Young guns to lead Raine & Horne real estate services in East Gosford region

Raine & Horne has recommitted to its delivery on the Central Coast, with the launch of a new office at East Gosford.

Led by one of Central Coast real estate’s foremost husband and wife teams, Geoff and Sue Tilden, Raine & Horne East Gosford’s leadership team will also include a former Westpac People & Culture Consultant Katie Tilden and marketing specialist, Kristian Bingham, who also enjoyed a stint in real estate with Raine & Horne Mosman in Sydney.

Mr Bingham has a Bachelor of Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology and Ms Tilden has a Masters of Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from Sydney University. Ms Tilden was recently named Raine & Horne’s 2018 National Rookie of the Year for Property Management, and she will lead the property management team at East Gosford, with Mr Bingham responsible for sales.

Next generation leading the way in real estate

“Raine & Horne has been selling Central Coast property for many generations and we now employ hundreds of sales, property management and administrative staff across 14 offices stretching from Umina on the southern peninsula to Lake Macquarie in the region’s north,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne.

“Some of our long-established offices on the Central Coast are family businesses that are now led by second-generation principals such as Katie and Kristian, who are 30 or under, which is very satisfying for me as some of these offices have been with us for many years,” says Mr Raine.

“This passing of the baton to exciting and energetic young business leaders such as Katie and Kristian not only guarantee business continuity for Raine & Horne, but means our offices are led by young professionals who are fully immersed in every aspect of our brand, the real estate industry and are well-known to their local communities.”

Geoff & Susan Tilden launched Raine & Horne Gosford 2011 after a 20-year stint with another real estate firm. Geoff said their firm’s growth drove the decision to establish a second office in the East Gosford region.

“We’ve been consistently focused on expanding our rent roll for many years now, and with Katie and Kristian joining the business it gave us the opportunity to establish an office in East Gosford to better service that region,” Mr Tilden explained.

Mrs Tilden added, “With Geoff running sales at Gosford, and me overseeing property management, it would have been a stretch to open another office. We’ve seen too many businesses get into trouble where principals spread themselves too thin.

“We can’t duplicate ourselves, but by bringing Katie and Kristian into the business means we now can expand.”

East Gosford is a strategic location

East Gosford is a crucial location, noted Mr Tilden because it enables the new business to service premium suburbs such as Point Frederick and expanding suburbs such as Springfield and Green Point. With a median house price of $610,000, Springfield was recently identified by realestate.com.au as one of the most in-demand suburbs for real estate in NSW.

Despite a softening in the market, Sue Tilden says Sydney buyers seeking a lifestyle move to the Central Coast will continue to drive long-term demand for the region’s real estate.”
