Homecoming for Raine & Horne ‘favourite’ son Chris Hart

Leading real estate firm Raine & Horne is pulling out the big guns with the launch of a new office in Fairfield.

Real estate specialist Chris Hart, who started his stellar career with the 135-year-old firm in 2001, will lead Raine & Horne Fairfield.

“This is an exciting homecoming for Chris, who launched his career with Raine & Horne in Campsie 17 years ago,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman Raine & Horne.

A registered valuer and licensed real estate agent, Mr Hart has since worked in sales for several agencies in southwestern Sydney, before establishing a business of his own in Revesby with one of Raine & Horne’s competitors in 2010. He subsequently launched a second office in 2015 in Condell Park with the same global network. Mr Hart is also a former TAFE teacher who was involved in teaching the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

During this period Mr Hart won several major real estate awards, and in 2014 was recognised as one of the top two per cent of his network’s sales agents worldwide. The new Raine & Horne Fairfield principal also has commercial property market sales and leasing experience.

Corporate experience

In 2015, after some management changes to his businesses in Revesby and Condell Park, Mr Hart accepted a senior corporate role with a major real estate group. He started in franchise sales, graduated to national orientation manager and finally became a regional manager for NSW before deciding to return to self-employment as the principal of Raine & Horne Fairfield.

Mr Raine said, “We wanted a real estate professional with vast real estate experience and integrity to lead our team in Fairfield, especially as southwestern Sydney’s property market is about to launch skywards as the reality of the second Sydney airport at Badgerys Creek draws closer.

“Southwestern Sydney is a significant market, and the people of the region deserve to have the very best property sales and property management services possible.

“Chris, who learned the property ropes with Raine & Horne, can provide this level of service in spades, and I can’t wait to work with him and his young term of sales and property management professionals.”

Local knowledge and national strength

Mr Hart said his experience as a regional manager has given him excellent exposure to the Fairfield property market, while he will also draw on his expertise selling real estate in nearby Revesby and Condell Park.

“Being a registered valuer, I can easily calculate property prices and values and provide accurate appraisals whether it’s Fairfield, Frankston or Fremantle,” said Mr Hart.

“With the surge in the demand for apartment living in Fairfield, backed by the long-term job and economic advantages Badgerys Creek Airport and the growth in the Parramatta CBD will deliver to this region, strategically Fairfield is the perfect location for a new office.”
