One of the Central Coastโs most respected agents, Andrew Thomson, yesterday opened Stone Real Estateโs newest franchise in oceanside Copacabana โ the 13th office opening for the network this year.
The new principal of Stone Real Estate Copacabana rose to the top five per cent of sales agents nationally at his previous agency after building an envious sales record in the desirable Central Coast region.
A key factor to Mr Thomsonโs consistent success is a genuine passion for serving clients, driven by having been in their shoes so many times – experiences which eventually led him to switch careers in 2007 and leave media and television for life as a real estate agent.
โAfter almost a lifetime of experience with real estate agents we [he and his wife Peta] could see there was this all-too-casual approach to service and dealing with people,โ says Mr Thomson.
โWe felt there was often a general lack of respect for the emotional journey people were on and the situation they were in โ a lack of awareness of the emotional toll it takes on people when theyโre selling a house, which is almost always their biggest asset.
โSometimes they really need to just know someone is in their corner whoโs well and truly doing something for them.โ
Stone Real Estateโs franchising director Luke Cameron said Mr Thomsonโs personal vision and philosophies could not be a more perfect fit for the boutique agency.
