Sandra Bullock selling her San Diego estate

Miss Congeniality star, Sandra Bullock is looking to offload her mammoth 91 acre San Diego compound for US$6 million.

According to toptenrealestatedeals.com, the Oscar-winning actress purchased the estate for US$2.75 million in 2009 and it boasts 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape.

Inside, the 550sq m, 1990-built home has been completely renovated and includes high-beam ceilings, white walls and a host of French doors that let in an abundance of natural light.

The gourmet kitchen has soapstone countertops and an Italian marble backsplash as well as top-of-the-range appliances.

The primary suite has a combination of high-end features such as an adobe fireplace, large lounge, jetted tub, steam shower and private access to the pool.

The four oversized bedrooms each have their own ensuite and private entrances off the home’s expansive verandas.

There’s also an elegant library with its own fireplaces and lit-up shelving.

Naturally, the home is perfect for entertaining, with a large heated saltwater pool that forms a part of the outdoor entertainment zone that also includes a gas outdoor fireplace, a big-screen TV and a pool room.

Outside there are also hundreds of olive, avocado, and citrus trees, a hacienda, a detached guesthouse, large floral gardens, a cute walk-in chicken coop, a beehive, a certified organic avocado orchard and a number of fruit-bearing trees.

The property also has plenty of room for friends and family, with a three-bedroom, two-bathroom guesthouse that offers its own fireplace, gazebo and spa.

The gated compound is fitted out for a celebrity, with security cameras and enhanced by a smart home system.

There are also solar panels and an electric car charging station.
