Miss Congeniality star Sandra Bullock is putting one of her two Malibu homes up for rent with a hefty price tag of US$30,000 per month.
According to The Dirt, the movie star is looking to rent her Malibu cottage, which offers unobstructed water views and is located within a 24/7 guard-gated community, where some of the other neighbours include Halle Berry and Bullock herself.
With only two bedrooms and two bathrooms in about 120sq m of living space, the cottage is small, but it has a number of other A-list features.
Originally built in 1958, Bullock has just given the place a contemporary remodel, with wide-plank hardwood floors throughout, along with walls of glass and a kitchen outfitted with premium Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.
The property also offers a walled and gated courtyard with an outdoor dining section, fire pit, bar seating area and a barbecue.
Inside, the living/dining room opens via glass doors to a raised deck, while the master bedroom also boasts impressive ocean views and opens to that same deck, with the renovated master bathroom including dual sinks and a built-in soaking tub.
Bullock purchased the property in 2020 for $5.3 million and she also owns another house in the same enclave.
The 57-year-old is one of Hollywood’s most prolific real estate investors, owning 15 properties across the US, including a $20 million Beverly Hills estate, a ranch in Jackson, Wyoming, a Gothic Victorian mansion in New Orleans, a lakefront compound in Austin, Texas, and a townhouse in New York City.
