Realmark uses social media for the greater good

Last week Realmark turned their social media marketing on Facebook into greater good for the community, raising valuable funds for the charity ‘Racing for MNDi’.

The Realmark team was approached by client and football hero Nic Naitanui, who is heavily involved in the Racing for MNDi Foundation. Racing for MNDi aims to raise the profile of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Australia and is committed to finding a cure by focusing on the research of inherited forms of MND.

Obtaining the help of Nic who donated his signed football boots, Realmark listed the boots for auction via the Paul Tonich Realmark Urban Facebook page.

Bids were made by commenting on a Facebook post by the team. In just 24 hours, the Eagles’ player boots went to the highest bidder, Nicola Reid, for $1050.

Realmark Managing Director, John Percudani said, “It is so important that we take time out and dedicate time and effort to great causes such as finding a cure for MND. Realmark has always been focused on giving back to the community and ensuring we get behind charities such as this 110%”.

The agent behind the drive, Realmark Urban’s Paul Tonich said, “When the team from Racing for MND contacted us, we were thrilled to be able to rally together and support this great cause. We must give a huge shout out to our long-term client, friend and supporter West Coast Eagles superstar Nic for donating the boots and his time.”

Realmark runs an annual program of True Blue events and fundraisers to support their local communities and charities their team members are passionate about. For more information visit realmark.com.au/community
