The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) and their digital partner Hutly are gearing up to release a notable enhancement to the Instituteโs member-only VicForms platform next week with digital signatures becoming widely available across the state.
REIV Membership Services Manager Matthew Griffin explained the most recent Delta outbreaks have only amplified the need for non-contact alternatives like digital signatures, which became more prevalent throughout the past year.
โCOVID-19 and the resulting lockdowns have increased the need for no-contact digital signatures on documents other than just contracts and authorities,” Mr Griffith said.
“Our member services and tools like VicForms are helping agencies adapt to the new normal while staying informed and compliant.โ
Driven by engagement with VicForms subscribers since launching in March, the release will bring Hutlyโs One Touch digital signatures to subscribers wanting to send any of their agencyโs documents out for signing.
The program aims to remove the need for multiple signing subscriptions by keeping all agency contracts and documents in one place.
Hutly aims for the release to allow agency users to combine the REIVโs compliance-guaranteed contracts like the Contract of Sale with key documents like the Section 32/Vendor Statement, offering the most streamlined and simple way to set up and send documents quickly.

“VicForms users have given us some amazing insights to feed back into the VicForms product,” Hutly Head of Product and Marketing Hamish Wyatt said.
“That engagement allows us to deliver major improvements โ like those in this release โ at least every quarter.”
In addition to the new signing features, the platform caters to agencies of all sizes, from just two forms a month to more than 300 a month. All VicForms plans are no lock-in, month-to-month subscriptions and start from $19.95 per month.
Agencies can contact the VicForms team at hello@vicforms.com.au to arrange a demo or, visit www.vicforms.com.au for more information.
