Second Century Ventures, the strategic investment arm of the National Association of Realtors, has announced the acceptance of eight companies to the 2023 REACH Australia program.
It is the fourth cohort for the program. The REACH accelerator is designed to help technology companies scale their growth and make a lasting impact across real estate communities worldwide.
The companies have been hand-picked and are set to kick off with the REACH GENESIS conference in Brisbane on March 12.
“We are delighted to be welcoming these new innovators to the property community,” Peter Schravemade, Managing Partner, REACH ASEA, said.
“This portfolio has demonstrated tremendous relevance and innovation to the global real estate industry, and we are excited about the growth 2023 will bring.”
Announced in 2022 as the Centre for Real Estate Technology and Innovation (CRETI) Residential VC of the Year, the REACH program continues its dominance globally, fostering partnerships with multiple real estate institute peak bodies and strategic alliances with technology associations and advisory boards.
The REACH program presents a dynamic group of start-ups that are not just pushing the boundaries of innovation in the real estate industry, but also bringing diversity and inclusivity to the forefront.
With a strong representation of New Zealand-owned companies such as Tapi and ListAssist, as well as three companies led by female C-suite executives, these firms are not only addressing the persistent challenges in the global housing market but also enhancing the capabilities of agents and brokers to serve consumers more efficiently.
The companies accepted to the REACH 2023 program are:
Sensor Global The patent owners of a home/facility sensor that automatically checks itself backed by monitoring software.
Liz An app designed to assist tenants with fiscal responsibility and shared payment scenarios.
QuantPS An optimisation engine that helps banks and their customers sell distressed residential property for more, faster.
Tapi The Property Care Platform for residential property managers to better report, track and plan maintenance and repairs.
ListAssist AI automating the writing of listing descriptions for the sale and lease of residential properties.

Mr Schravemade said the companies were handpicked for their groundbreaking technologies and their potential to make a real impact in the industry, from automating listing descriptions to bringing transparency to the offer management process.
“They are the future of the real estate industry, and the program is excited to have them onboard,” he said.
“Together, they will drive innovation, growth, and progress in the real estate market, and bring new and impactful solutions to the table.
“Join us in welcoming these industry disruptors and be a part of the revolution that is driving innovation, growth, and progress in the real estate market.”
