Prospecting specialists K2X drive results for agents

Real estate agents know they need to be diligent in prospecting for clients if their business is to grow.

Yet despite best intentions, during a busy day making those essential calls can drop to the bottom of the to-do list.

Which is why Australian lead-generation specialist K2X has been such a success since its launch in 2020, taking the pressure off real estate agents while ensuring they don’t miss out on clients to competitors.

Experienced Sydney real estate agents Kallan Richards and Alexander Rorris saw the need for a specialist company devoted to prospecting so agents could spend more time doing what they are best at, helping their secured clients sell and buy property.

Since the launch of K2X two-and-a-half years ago, the pair have seen the company grow to a staff of 45 making millions of calls a year for agents around the country.

“Even though we launched as Covid hit, we had identified that agents needed this help and we went for it,” Mr Richards said.

K2X provides services to a number of property professionals in the top 100 real estate agents in the country. It works with many of the leading real estate brands including The Agency, McGrath, Ray White and Raine & Horne, as well as a host of independents.

 “In any sales business you have to hit the phones, it is one of the most crucial things you can do to generate business right now and for the future,” Mr Richards said.

“It is especially huge for real estate agents because so much of the business is phone-based.

“If they don’t make those calls their competitors will do it with their sales results, just-listed results and talking to new vendors and buyers coming into the market.”

Agents are aware they have to make prospecting calls but they have busy schedules, Mr Richards said.

“Agents might make the commitment to call 200 people in a day but after 50 calls they get side tracked with the job of being an agent and they have to go to meetings, photo shoots and manage a team, it’s inevitable they miss their goals.” he explained.

“We can take all that off their plate or add another layer of prospecting so they get more listings into the future.”

One of the reasons K2X has been so successful is the company’s guarantee to customers. Agents don’t pay for the service if K2X does not meet their key performance indicators.

For their database building service, K2X guarantees at least 10 – 20 results, which is a mix of appointments, new CRM contacts and potential sellers per 200 calls. For work on an agent’s existing CRM database, K2X guarantees between three and six face-to-face appointments per 200 calls or you do not pay anything at all.

“We are one-third of the cost of an in-house lead generator,” Mr Richards said. 

“We train our staff specifically for real estate prospecting and they are all based in Australia.

“The cost is about $26,000 for a whole year of prospecting with us and most agents will add eight to 12 additional listings when they work with K2X for a year.”

“Agents can use our service and from that investment make $200,000 to $400,000 a year doing one call session a week. It is a massive breakthrough for their efficiencies in growing their business.”
