Actress, writer and producer Mindy Kaling has listed her apartment in Manhattan and stands to take a loss on the sale.
According to The Dirt, The Office actress picked up the Soho apartment in 2017 for US$3.1 million and is now looking for offers up to US$2.8 million.
Sitting on the sixth floor of the Richard Gluckman-designed One Kenmare Square building, the loft-style, two-bedroom apartment includes two bathrooms in just over 110sq m of open plan living space.
The apartment boasts light-filled interiors along with hardwood floors, high ceilings and a living room with large oversized windows and views of Williamsburg Bridge, Kenmare Street and Petrosino Square.
There’s also a small kitchen with Carrara marble countertops and an eat-in peninsula, along with high-end Sub-Zero, Viking and Miele appliances and a small breakfast nook.
The primary suite offers a built-in entertainment unit as well as luxe bath, dual vanities and Kohler soaking tub with a separate shower.
There’s also an ensuite guest bedroom, a washer/dryer and access to the building’s services and amenities like a 24-hour doorman and fully-equipped fitness centre.
On top of her NYC apartment, Kaling also owns two Los Angeles homes, including a US$9.6 million Malibu beach house, as well as a 1920s villa in the exclusive Hancock Park neighbourhood.
