Miley Cyrus is moving back to Malibu and into an $8 million mansion

Wrecking Ball singer Miley Cyrus is moving back to Malibu after successfully selling her Nashville ranch.

The popstar previously called Malibu home during her marriage to Liam Hemsworth and is set to move back in after picking up a US$7.9 million mansion.

According to The Dirt, the Mediterranean villa-style structure was originally built in 1999 and boasts over 600sq m of living space with six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one powder room.

Sitting on a 1.5-acre block and at the end of a long driveway, the property last sold in 2018 for US$5.8 million and was rented out in recent years.

Inside the two-storey mansion, there are three entertaining rooms, including the living room, a formal dining room and a billiard room with a pool table.

The kitchen boasts top-of-the-range stainless appliances, granite countertops and a butler’s pantry and is easily accessible from the three entertaining areas.

The family room has its own fireplace and offers direct access to a terrace with whitewater views.

Upstairs, the primary suite also has its own fireplace, as well as a sitting area and a bathroom with a built-in tub and naturally a private balcony with more ocean views.
