Matthew Skene set to disrupt the Byron market under his own brand

The opportunity to do things differently and be a part of the real estate revolution is what motivated Matthew Skene to move away from the franchise model and launch his own brand, Skene & Co powered by UrbanX.

Over the past five years, Matthew has been able to gain valuable real estate and sales experience in the Sydney market and, after moving to the Byron region with his family, he has been able to bring his wealth of experience to the local market. 

Since moving to the Byron area, Matthew has been able to grow his personal brand in the region, and after selling a number of multi-million-dollar properties in the area, and achieving amazing results for his vendors, Matthew decided it was time to go out on own, so he could run his own business the way he has always wanted to.

“Going out on my own was always something that I wanted to do, but I have ended up making the decision to do it sooner than I expected after giving away so much of my commission,” he said.

“I am excited to launch Skene & Co and to be able to make my own decisions and do what is best for my clients.”

As an agent focusing on the prestige market in the Byron region, the decision to partner with UrbanX was easy for Matthew.
