Former banker and lead agent Jason Roach is joining The Agency, spearheading the brand’s presence on the Upper North Shore of Sydney.
“I’ve known Matt Lahood for more than 15 years and the team he has assembled was very appealing to be a part of,” Mr Roach said.
“I was seeking a premium, energetic brand that projects prosperity and success, and the high calibre of agents on board was a real drawcard.”
Mr Roach brings 20 years of banking experience to The Agency, including senior roles at Macquarie Bank and as National Head of Real Estate Services with the Westpac Banking Corporation.
While managing real estate services at Westpac, Mr Roach worked with The Agency’s CEO Matt Lahood in a financial capacity.
“The Agency’s unique model offers operational and network opportunities that are unhindered by the traditional franchise model,” Mr Roach said.
“Both my banking and real estate backgrounds helped me identify this model was the way forward.”
The Agency’s expansion into the Upper North Shore of Sydney is extremely important for the network, as it will further expand the brand’s extensive referral system across its existing metro-based agents.
“The Agency has vast experience in assisting agents with their business growth and also their market share, and growing market share is the priority for my business,” Mr Roach said.
Mr Roach has built an extremely successful real estate business over the last six years.
In the first three years of his operation he placed in the top two per cent of his former brand’s global network of more than 100,000 agents.
And in the last three years, he placed in the top one per cent globally.
“I am honoured Jason will be representing and spearheading our operation on the Upper North Shore of Sydney,” The Agency’s CEO, Matt Lahood said.
“For me, the fact Jason Roach chose The Agency for the next phase of his business expansion is a testament to what we have built and a vote of confidence in our non-franchise real estate model.”
