Former Bondi Rescue lifeguard Harrison Reid has sold his Sydney apartment for $1.5 million, capping off a 12-year chapter in the eastern suburbs before starting fresh as a Harcourts real estate agent in New Zealand.
The two-bedroom Rose Bay flat sold after a second attempt on the market – Harrison had originally listed it in 2024 but withdrew when it failed to attract a buyer, according to the Daily Mail.
He purchased the top-floor apartment in 2019 for $1 million, making a $500,000 gain over seven years.
His Rose Bay apartment sits in a 1960s-era, three-level block of nine units, approximately 8 km from the CBD.
The property features city skyline views, a balcony off the main bedroom, and an updated kitchen and living area.
The 32-year-old announced his departure from lifeguarding last December, posting on Instagram about the decision to leave.

“Not many people get to say they landed their dream job at 18 and lived it for 12 years,” Harrison said.
“Turning up to work each day with your best mates, never knowing what the day would throw at you, who would knock on the tower door, when the emergency phone would ring, or who would end up in a rip and need help.”

Harrison relocated to Sydney from New Zealand in 2014 and quickly established himself in the eastern suburbs property market.
He purchased a two-bedroom flat that year for $725,000, converted it into a large one-bedroom unit, and sold it for $745,000 in 2019.
The listing was held by Hamish McMaster from LJ Hooker Bondi Beach.
