Domain Trailblazer Awards to recognise emerging talent

Domain will recognise emerging agents and property managers who find innovative ways to help colleagues, clients and their business reach their goals, with a new awards series.

The Trailblazer Awards will see five winners crowned in April, with chief executive officers, principals and senior agents currently called upon to nominate junior stars in one of four categories – innovation, achievement, dedication or connection.

Innovation: have they embraced technology and innovation to achieve better outcomes for their business and vendors?

Achievement: have they achieved their personal goals or significant milestones in their real estate career?

Dedication: have they gone the extra mile for their colleagues, business and vendors?

Connection: have they shown an ability to connect with clients and colleagues and maintain thriving relationships?

Domain Chief Revenue Officer John Foong said Domain was excited to shine a light on the industry’s young achievers.

“We work in a demanding industry and understand the importance of investing in and supporting the career development of those in property to be successful,” he said.

“That’s why we want to recognise and acknowledge the outstanding performance and dedication of our agents and property managers at every level.

“The Domain Trailblazer awards have been created to recognise and reward exceptional team members, who are new in the industry, and offer an opportunity for more senior agents, principals, and CEOs to be able to shine a light on their colleagues.”

To be eligible for the awards, finalists and winners must have been in the property industry for three or less years, be nominated by a colleague and display initiatives in one of the four categories.

There will be 10 finalists, two from each state, who will be flown to Sydney overnight for the awards ceremony on April 28-29.

One winner from each state will be crowned a Domain Trailblazer and receive a prize package that includes two coaching sessions with Josh Phegan, media exposure on Domain’s social channels, a full page print ad in Domain in either The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, or in Domain Prestige in The Australian Financial Review (depending on their state), and other marketing assets to build their brand as an industry leader.

Nominations for the Trailblazer Awards close on April 1, with finalists announced on April 8.To nominate a trailblazer click here.
