Leading utilities connection service, connectnow, has partnered with next-gen property management platform Managed, to enhance the home moving experience for Australian tenants and home buyers.
Connectnow offers a variety of connection services including; electricity, gas, water, home phone, internet, pay TV and insurance, to name a few.
Rather than calling these services individually, movers can quickly get their connections sorted all at once through the connectnow service.
Through this new partnership, tenants on Managed will be able to seamlessly use the connectnow service via an integration.
Agency customers will also benefit from the partnership, being paid referral fees every time a tenant connects a utility or service facilitated by connectnow.
Connectnow Growth and Partnership’s Manager, Sean Scoffield, said he was excited about the partnership and the real estate agencies they service to provide tenants with a ‘more valuable user experience by helping them to get connected to utilities and services quicker and easier.
Mr Scoffield also noted that Managed agencies would also benefit from an additional revenue stream without having to go through a lengthy setup process.
“Moving home is stressful enough, the last thing tenants want to do after a long day of moving is to sit on the phone for hours with four or five different service providers”, Mr Scoffield said.
“Managed was a natural partnership choice for us, they’ve experienced phenomenal growth over the years and their user experience for tenants is second to none.
“It made a lot of sense to build a native experience and offer our services directly.”
Managed Chief Operating Officer, Rohith George was equally enthusiastic about the partnership.
