Century 21 Eastern Suburbs Offices unite in a pink cause

For the first time ever, the Maroubra, Bondi Junction, Randwick and Rose Bay offices are joining forces to auction seven properties in one night.

Century 21 offices in Sydney’s eastern suburbs will be holding a super auction night on the 8th November at Clovelly Surf Club, with a donation from all properties sold on the night to be contributed to the Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon campaign.

For the first time ever, the Maroubra, Bondi Junction, Randwick and Rose Bay offices are joining forces to auction seven properties in one night.

Charles Tarbey, Chairman and Owner of Century 21 Australasia, said that the event promises to be a night filled with auction excitement on an incredible scale and within a changing market.

“The Eastern suburbs real estate market has long been one of Sydney’s most attractive and there will be a great selection of property up for auction that will suit a range of homeowners and investors.

“We are expecting some very competitive bidding with auction clearance rates still very solid in Sydney,” said Charles Tarbey.

The properties that will be auctioned include a range of two, three and four bedroom houses and one and two bedroom apartments, in suburbs including Coogee, Maroubra, Eastlakes and Matraville.

A donation of at least $500 will be made from each sale, with all money raised on the night going towards the Cancer Council’s work to raise awareness for breast and gynaecological cancers, and to assist research, prevention programs and support services for those affected.

For four years running, the Century 21 network has turned pink during October in support of Pink Ribbon and over this time, have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the charity.

Throughout the month, agents wear limited edition pink Century 21 jackets complemented with pink accessories such as scarves and ties. Offices across Australia also host a number of local community events, including charity auctions, awards dinners, golf days, community barbecues and morning teas, to raise as much as they can for the network’s fundraising total.

The properties will be auctioned by Matthew Shalhoub from leading Sydney auction company, Under The Hammer.

The event will start at 6.30pm at Clovelly Surf Club, Bundock Park, Clovelly NSW, and all members of the public are welcome to attend.

To find out more about the properties, interested parties can contact any of the participating offices – including Century 21 Eastern Beaches Maroubra, Century 21 Armstrong-Smith Bondi Junction, Century 21 Classic Real Estate Randwick and Century 21 Feller Taylor Freund Rose Bay.
