Victorian brand Buxton has announced the appointment of Marcus Williams to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Williams was most recently Harcourts Group CEO, a position he held for more than a decade.
He steps into the role vacated by Nathan Jones, who joined Kay & Burton as CEO earlier this month.
Mr Williams has a real estate career spanning more than 25 years, including time spent in the UK.
Previous roles include a stint as CEO of Ray White Victoria and Tasmania.
In a statement, Buxton said Mr Williams’ “strategic planning expertise” and “franchise development experience” would help the brand expand.
Mr Williams said that he was excited to join the Buxton team.
โI am thrilled to be working with Buxton – a group whose outstanding reputation and position in the industry is defined by their commitment to building long term and valued relationships with people,” he said.
โBuxton is an iconic Victorian brand that dominates in most, if not all of the markets in which we operate.
“Our people are driven professionals, who are exceptionally knowledgeable on their local market, highly focused, and endeavour to provide a world class experience.”
