Richard Clucas, Michael Hallam join hohm Property Group as partners

Perth real estate agency hohm Property Group has brought Michael Hallam and Richard Clucas into its ownership group at partnership level, as the independently owned business moves into its next phase of growth.

The move follows a period of expansion for hohm, including its acquisition of Wright Real Estate, which took the group into Scarborough, and the February 2026 transformation of Edison McGrath into the hohm Property Group brand.

Ross Hunter, CEO and Director of hohm Property Group, said the partnership was a natural progression for a business that has grown in both scale and ambition.

“Over the past few years our business has changed considerably, but each stage has been about building for the future,” Ross said.

“We have expanded our footprint, grown our property management business, invested heavily in our people, systems and technology and, earlier this year, launched hohm Property Group as a brand that better represents where we are heading. Bringing Michael and Richard into the business at partnership level is the next part of that evolution.”

Ross said the move reflected a broader push to build depth into the business rather than relying on a small number of individuals.

“We don’t want to build a business that is dependent on one or two individuals. We want to build something with depth – a business where great people can develop, lead and ultimately have the opportunity to become part of its ownership and future direction,” he said.

“Michael and Richard have already made significant contributions to the business, and they share our belief in what hohm can become. Having them join us as partners strengthens the leadership of the company and gives us an even stronger platform for the next stage of growth.”

For Michael, the appointment is a chance to shape where the business goes next.

“There is a genuine sense of momentum around hohm and I’m excited to be part of its future at a partnership level,” Michael said.

“We have an exceptional group of people, a clear vision for where we want to take the business and a real opportunity to build something special in the Perth property market.”

Richard described the move as a long-term commitment to the direction hohm is heading.

“What appealed to me is the opportunity to be part of building the next chapter of hohm,” Richard said.

“There is a strong culture here, but there is also an appetite to keep challenging ourselves and improving the way we do things. We want to continue building a business that attracts great people and delivers an exceptional experience for our clients.”

Ross said the expanded partnership comes as hohm continues investing across its sales and property management divisions, alongside new technology, AI-driven systems and leadership development.

“The industry is evolving quickly, particularly with technology and AI changing how agencies operate and how we interact with our clients,” he said.

“We want to be at the forefront of that change, but never at the expense of relationships. Property is fundamentally a people business, and trust, communication and personal service will always sit at the heart of hohm.”
