Bribie Island office gets RE/MAX Advanced refurbishment

Victoria Nicholson, a well-known and respected name in real estate, has completely refurbished her office on Bribie Island in Queensland to be reimaged as RE/MAX Advanced, with a new direction through growth in response to demand from the market.

“Our new name reflects who and what we are,” said Ms Nicholson.

“We are forward looking, and advanced in our philosophy, processes and services.”

She has introduced a dedicated in-house digital division, led by property marketing and media consultant, Tarek Noble.

“Tarek is a leading property photographer and videographer who I had to work hard to lure from Brisbane. He works with a digital editor, and the digital unit gives us professional photos, videos, 3D tours and more, which enhance the customer experience.

“Today’s buyers and sellers deserve this level of technology in property marketing, and it is a necessity when you are serious about reaching the buyers that come from far and wide.”

“Buyer demand is extremely strong and the name change arose from the need for a name that unified our market,” said Ms Nicholson.

“It also matches the direction of the team.”

Ms Nicholson first established RE/MAX Island Properties five years ago and in 2016 opened a second office, RE/MAX Mainland & Surfside Properties. Her team across these offices became established as market leaders from Bribie Island to Caboolture, and Beachmere to Toorbul.

In the predominantly lifestyle market, she said waterfront was in demand and at well above pre-GFC activity levels. Families, the semi-retired and the retired from interstate and overseas are attracted by the accessibility to water and the location of the market in the well-connected Brisbane to Sunshine Coast corridor.

The team has seen significant growth over the past 12 months – now approaching 20 on the team with 15 licensed agents – and this has provided greater depth of knowledge and specialized experience across a larger team.

Responding to investor activity, the office has also expanded into holiday letting.

Ms Nicholson believes business success has come from inside the team itself.

“My business has reached this level because of the culture and level of professionalism we’ve built and have a reputation for.”

The RE/MAX Advanced team is also part of the fabric of its community, as residents and, for example, with the office just recently the major sponsor of its third annual charity golf day for Bribie Island Kids Education Support (BIKES).
